Unhurried, and county-wide
We work the whole of Surrey rather than one high street, and we are honest about what that does and does not mean. It makes us good at cross-county work, long moves and the villages that belong to no particular town. It does not make us the local firm on every corner.
What we do
Household removals across GU, KT and RH — period town houses, commuter-belt family homes, apartments around the stations, and cottages down lanes below the Hills. Packing to whatever depth you want, containerised storage, long-distance work, and moves that carry on into France, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
We also take small commercial work: offices and consulting rooms in the town centres, studios, and units on the business parks.
Why unhurried is the point
Surrey moves go wrong in a particular way. Chains are long, houses are full, a lot of the property is old, and the contents are frequently worth more than the room count suggests. None of that rewards speed at the quoting stage.
So the survey takes as long as it takes, the schedule has slack in it, and protection goes down before anything moves. It is slower at the front and it is the reason these jobs finish without a conversation about making good.
Where the town firms do it better
Surrey has good local movers in individual towns, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. If your move is entirely within one high street and you have a neighbour who swears by somebody, that is often the right call.
What this site covers is the work a single-town firm is less suited to: cross-county moves, the long runs out via the M25, the Hills villages that belong to no particular town, and households whose contents need more thought than a standard quote gives them.
How we work
We look first. On anything above a single room, somebody looks at the property — in person or on a video call — before a number is written down. It is free, and in a county with this much period property it is the only sensible way to price.
Distance stays visible. Surrey is wider than it feels. We price travel as its own input rather than averaging it into the volume, because that is what makes two quotes comparable.
Quotes in writing. Measured volume, crew, vehicle, packing depth, handling for the pieces that need more than a blanket, storage if it is part of the job, and what cover applies.
One point of contact. The person who surveys the job still knows it on the day.
What we do not do
We do not quote before we understand the job. We do not promise a transit time we cannot stand behind. We do not take on a property without establishing that we can physically reach it. And we do not claim awards, accreditations, press coverage or customer numbers we have not got — if it is not on this site, it is because it is not true yet.
Cover
Goods in transit and storage cover are in place, with the usual conditions around owner-packed cartons and items of unusual value. Declare anything genuinely valuable at survey and we will confirm in writing what applies. The contractual position is on the terms page.
