What we do
A county of very different moves
Surrey looks uniform from outside and is nothing of the sort on the ground. A Guildford town house, a Woking apartment, a Weybridge family home and a cottage on a lane below the Hills ask four genuinely different things of a removals crew — access, protection, vehicle and time. We price each for what it actually is.
The commuter towns — Woking, Weybridge, Esher
Newer apartment stock around the stations, substantial family housing behind it, and driveways almost everywhere. The easiest loading in the county and often the largest volumes.
The Hills and the southern villages
Shere, Abinger, Holmbury, Cranleigh and the lanes between them. Single-track approaches, no passing places, and gravel that goes soft after a wet week. Nothing here is quoted without a look.
The eastern towns — Reigate, Redhill, Oxted
Period property on tight town-centre streets alongside postwar and modern estate housing, with the M25 and Gatwick close enough to shape where people are moving to and from.

Before you get in touch
Surrey is a big county. Do you really cover all of it?
Yes, and we price the distance honestly rather than pretending Staines and Haslemere are the same trip. GU, KT and RH all behave differently — the Thames-side towns, the Hills villages, the commuter belt — and the quote says which one you are in rather than averaging it away.
Do you work with the town firms?
We work alongside them. Surrey has good local movers in individual towns and we will happily say so; what we cover is the county-wide and cross-county work, the long moves out, and the villages that do not really belong to any one town.
Can you reach a house down a Hills lane?
Usually, and always after a look. Single-track approaches, no passing places, overhanging trees and gravel that goes soft after rain are all common south of the Hog's Back. Where a full-size vehicle will not reach the door we shuttle from the nearest standing point, and that goes in the quote rather than on the morning.
Is parking difficult in the towns?
In Guildford and Reigate centres, yes, and bay suspensions need arranging in advance. Woking and the newer estates are easier. We will tell you which side of the application is yours.
Can a move carry on into Europe?
Yes. The M25 is on the doorstep from most of the county, so the load leaves your door and runs out through Kent to the crossings. Same crew packing, and the customs paperwork prepared from the survey inventory.
